The Riverdale CSA depends on its members for the site to run well and so requires all shareholders to take work shifts. Joining and participating in the Core Committee can also fulfill the work shift requirement.

For the growing season, work shifts add up to approximately five hours at the Riverdale distribution site on pick-up days. Shifts are scheduled between 1:30 and 7:30 pm.  Prior to the start of the CSA season, the site manager will ask all members to select their shifts. We recommend that you sign up as soon as the request goes out, in order to secure your desired shift dates and times.

For the winter season, the work shift consists of one 1-hour shift.
